How much beer can I make?

1 batch (keg) yields 50 litres of beer. 135 to 140 bottles (Almost 6 cartons) of 330ml of beer. This is an estimation, we cannot guarantee how many bottles you can fill as you may enjoy consuming your beer while you are bottling.

Can I bring some friends?

YES. Bringing a group of 4 to 6 people per batch is recommended. 50 litres is a lot of beer. Bring some friends to help you enjoy your brewing experience and then share the beer so that everybody takes home a dozen or two. Splitting the brewing duties and the beer between 4 to 6 households is ideal.

What types of beers are available?

We have recipes for nearly every beer known. We've developed and perfected these recipes. We now can do Blondes (low carb beers).

Do I bottle my own beer?

YES - most customers go with a 330ml bottle, we can also supply bottles for an additional charge. Bottling your great tasting beer is part of the process. Bottling each batch only requires 1 to 3 people and can be accomplished in about 60 minutes when you use a 330ml bottle. Part of the fun of bottling is getting that first taste of your incredible fresh beer.

What if I want to put my beer in a keg?

No problem. Kegging your beer and serving it on tap for a party or in a refrigerated draft beer system is a great way to eliminate the bottling process and cost of your bottles, as well as keeping the beer tasting brewery fresh all the way through to the last glass. If you want to keg your personal brew, just ask our brewers for some recommendations on obtaining draft system equipment and kegs.

How long will my beer stay fresh?

Due to fact that we use no preservatives or other chemicals, beer is a perishable comodity. Small batches of ales and lagers do not fare well when they stored in warm conditions, So please REFRIGERATE YOUR BEER! Properly stored (cool / cold), your beer should have a life span of 6 months. Though it is more fun to think of taking home several cases of beer... Don't commit to more than you can easily enjoy and store properly. Besides being fun, this is one more reason to with friends split the batch and enjoy every bottle.

How much does it cost?

With personalised service each time you brew, our cellar management throughout the fermentation & conditioning and the opportunity to brew & bottle a customized product of you choice, you might expect the beer you make to cost 2 or 3 times that of similar store bought beers - when in fact you only pay about half the cost of a commercial or "pub" beer.

What can we do while brewing?

We have a large screen TV and you can enjoy sampling some our other beers we have available. However, during the bottling the key focus is putting your beer into bottles during your bottling appointment so we do not have any delays for our other customers.

How long does it process take?

Brewing takes about 90 minutes; the beer is ready to bottle / consume in 21 Days, and bottling takes about 60 minutes.
